Round-the-Clock (RTC) renewable energy combines solar, wind, and storage to provide power available 24 hours a day. SECI has piloted RTC RE tenders, awarding 8-hour-firm RE projects at premium tariffs vs vanilla solar. RTC tenders are expected to grow as DISCOMs seek dispatchable renewable supply.
