What it means
Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) is the dominant delivery model for utility-scale renewable energy projects. An EPC contractor takes responsibility for engineering the plant, procuring all equipment, and constructing to commissioning — typically with performance guarantees. Major Indian EPC players include Sterling and Wilson, L&T, Tata Projects, and Mahindra Susten.
